NDA (National Defense Academy)


The acronym NDA stands for National Defense Academy, which is joint services of the Indian Armed Force. The selected students in NDA examination are trained mentally, physically, and morally to handle the extremity of the field. A student studies an extensive knowledge of science, technology, military subjects and arts, which you can get at top defence coaching in Dehradun, as Dehradun is famous for IMA. NDA Entrance Exam

The exam is conducted twice by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) NDA 1, is conducted in the month of February, for which you can apply till 4Tth February 2019 and the date of NDA 1 examination is 21st April. NDA 2, last submission date is 3rd September 2019 and the date of NDA 2 examination is 17th November 2019.


NDA Eligibility Criteria And Admission Procedure

The age limit to passing the criteria is 16 ½ to 19 ½ years as of the first day of the month in which course is due to commence and should be unmarried.

You must also possess the following education guidelines according to distinct fields:

  1. For Army wing of National Defence Academy: 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
  2. For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy: A candidate must have passed 10+2 educational level with physics and mathematics subjects. Candidates who are appearing in the 12th class under the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent can also apply.
